I watched the documentary The Nun on EWTN this weekend and it was so interesting and beautiful. I also enjoyed learning about Marta's family, as well as her vocation. Check it out if you can.

I loved the Nun Story! I would like to thank the woman who made the film and order Dvd's for my family and friends. I am a Carmelite Secular and I think the film described the Carmelite vocation so beautifully!

I,too, saw The Nun and was quite moved by it. I see a connection between Marta and Ste. Therese, whom I venerate as God's helper. Marta is presently living in this world! and I think I would like to write to her in her Carmel in Sweden, but did not catch the name or its particular location. Can anyone give any help or maybe I should write EWTN? Thanks and say a prayer of thanks for Marta and Ste. Therese. Hal

I saw "The Nun" on Saturday and was captivated by it. I'm telling a friend about it so she can watch it...her daughter entered a Carmelite order last summer, so she would really be able to appreciate it.
In my opinion it was beautifully done, and really captured the special nature of this family. Seeing Marta, I really got the sense that she truly is a saint among us. What amazing parents! I sat there on the couch watching it, misty-eyed, as my 16-year-old daughter gave a glance at it from time to time while chatting with her friends online. I kept thinking of what it would be like to be in the position of Marta's father...SIGH!
By the way, your children are precious!! God bless you and Brian, and thanks for sharing your family and faith with others!
