Happy birthday, RoL! It's hard to believe that nearly 10 years ago (it'll be 10 years in Nov) Brian and I were a young married couple who loved the Catholic faith and loved to write so we started Revolution of Love.com. The following year on April 11, 2003, I started this blog as an outlet to chat about every day life and to have someplace to put fun and less serious posts.

fam2_2003.jpg

Brian, Bobbi & Bella back in the day.

That was nine years ago! Even though I've been around awhile there were some years I took a break from writing and only posted a handful of times. In 2003, I only had 22 posts. In 2011, I had over 100 so I am slowly making time to post regularly. ;-)

Whatever the amount, I still want to celebrate being here and the new friends I've met along the way so I'm having a RoL Birthday contest! To enter the contest, just leave a comment or send me an email at rol@revolutionoflove.com. (I know the comment box hasn't been working for some people.) In one month, on May 11, 2012, I'll randomly pick a winner to receive an RoL care package, which will contain these 5 gifts:

Gift 1 - Choose one of the following Catholic books below. (These are all books I've read and loved or I've heard great reviews and want to read soon.)

Gift 2 - Choose one of Carmen Marcoux's books.

Gift 3 - A Small (4x6) Divine Mercy Icon

div_mer.jpg

Gift 4 - Mystic Monk Coffee or Tea (Your Choice)

mys_mon.jpgmys_tea.jpg

Gift 5 - Chocolate (What's A Care Package without Chocolate?!)

Over the next few weeks I'll have "Flashback" posts - favorite posts or articles from RoL and the blog and reminders to enter the contest. I hope you enjoy the fun and good luck!

As I mentioned yesterday, it has been a busy week. On Wednesday, I eagerly went to the dentist for my teeth cleaning because it meant 20 uninterrupted minutes of sitting back in a chair and resting. The hygienist couldn't stop laughing when I told her this was the closest I would get to a spa day.

For yesterday's {pretty, happy, funny, real} I should have posted a photo of the pile of mail on the table. I haven't looked at a single item all week and the pile is about to topple. Even worse, I have two packages I haven't opened yet. One is my Pampered Chef order and the other is from Amazon and I believe it is Hailey's new book. As soon and I finish this I'll open them up and check it out. Yay!

When I get time to read over some blogs I always check my sister's blog first. I'm in CA and she is in VA and I hate that we are so far apart. Reading about her daily life helps me feel closer to her and her family. This morning she had me laughing so hard I was crying, which I actually feel bad about since she was describing her uber fear of mice. I was not laughing at her so much but the mental picture was hilarious. (I'm praying you catch that little pest, EL!) Go read it for yourself.

There has been a meme going around many blogs about posting 10 true facts about yourself. I remember doing something like that on facebook a year or two back but we had to do 25 things about ourselves. So for Quick Take 5 - 7 I'll repost that list for those who aren't on my facebook page because I know you just don't have enough useless information in your head right now.

- 5, 6 & 7 -

25 Useless but True Facts about Me

ba_baby_1.jpg

1. "Bobbi" is not a nickname but my actual name. I love my name and I'm happy I was named after my dad. (Thanks for not naming me Roberta, mom and dad.)

2. When I was in preschool my finger got caught in wheel spokes and as a result I have a crooked right pinky with a broken nail.

3. As a kid, I loved desk items and school supplies and always wanted to be a writer. (Office supply stores still make me giddy.)

4. As a kid, I loved playing school, bank, store and carnival with my brothers and sisters. (Now I avoid going to schools & banks and live in a carnival-like house of four kids. Unfortunately for my pocketbook, I never outgrow the love of shopping.)

5. I am the oldest of nine kids. (So having four kids is really only a medium sized family.)

skate.jpg

6. I used to have a pair of cool blue tennis shoes-roller skates.

7. My mom often told me I was a drama queen. (Sooo exaggerated.)

8. In school I was always the peacemaker who tried to bring arguing friends together. (I believe in the Rodney King mantra, "Can't we all just get along.")

9. I have no affection for cats whatsoever. (I just heard a unison of gasps. Sorry.)

10. I once dated a guy who turned into a stalker-crazy boyfriend.

converse.jpg

11. I loved my converse and doc martin shoes. (I traded in my docs for flats but I still have some brown converse.)

12. I was a sucker for guys with bald heads, tattoos and eyebrow rings yet I fell in love with a guy as clean cut as they come.

13. When I am stressed out I play a game of spider solitaire and listen to New Order.

14. I am incredibly nosey and always have to know what's going on.

smi_alb.jpg

15. When I was younger I thought it was pathetic when people in their 30's & 40's went to concerts of bands from their youth. I have officially become pathetic because if there was a reunion tour in my town of the cure, the smiths, new order, depeche mode or psychedelic furs, I'd be running out the door I'd consider going.

16. I can't sew a stitch. When I was younger, I once hemmed my pants with duct tape. (And I vaguely remember "sewing" a dress for my doll with a stapler.)

17. I was seriously discerning a religious vocation two years before meeting my spouse.

18. My husband discerned he wasn't called to the priesthood. The day he left the seminary he started a novena to find a wife. On the last day of the novena he "met" me online. (Funny that Brian's prayers were answered immediately while I had to wait years.)

ba_wed_1.jpg

19. I feel absolutely and completely blessed to be married to the best man I have ever known. He has a certain look that can still make my heart skip a beat. (Swoon.)

20. My greatest treasures are my four kids - Bella, Andrew, John-Paul & Matthew. (Sometimes I just need a break in order to appreciate that fact!)

21. I have made a lot of incredibly stupid mistakes in my life but God has used them all to teach me a lesson and make me stronger and more understanding of other people's weaknesses.

22. I can easily be moved to tears - both happy and sad.

hankie.jpg

23. When I laugh my eyes water and I always bring a handkerchief to the movies when I see a funny movie...or sad one. (A real handkerchief. It is very Downton Abbey of me.)

24. I hate being mad at someone and I am eager to make up.

25. The three things I am most grateful for are my life, my family, and God's love & mercy.

That's it for today. Have a wonderful weekend!!

Dear Blog Reader,

I have been absent for the majority of this week. I have numerous posts in my head but just could not get myself to sit down and type them out. I feel like I should be sharing spiritual insights and Lenten suggestions that will bring you closer to Christ, but frankly, my mind is blank. Instead, you will get the usual slightly humorous banter of a woman who is ignoring piles of dirty laundry and a sink full of dirty dishes. I'm sorry.

Apologetically,

Me

My Dear Sweet Hubby,

What kind of morning were you having? I woke up to find your phone, your scapular and your uneaten peanut butter and jelly sandwich that I am assuming was your breakfast? Were you called into work early at the last minute? Were you actually raptured while I was left here on earth? (I really do need to up my prayer life.) No, I guess you were just running out the door too fast. No worries, my love. I will drive over and bring you your things. It is the least I can do when you do so much for me.

Blessed to be,

Your Wife

Dear Driver from Texas,

Please excuse me for smiling at you on the road yesterday. I was not flirting with you. I was smiling at the fact that your Texas longhorn logo on the back of your truck always makes me think of a priest's clerical collar.

I know it is weird and most likely I need glasses but I can't help it.

Call me,

Dear Tourist of the Mission,

Welcome to my parish. I am so pleased to have you join us at Mass. I do not mind you sitting behind me. I will be patient with you and your children because I know how difficult it can be to keep them quiet. I am also sympathetic that sometimes little ones need bribes of cheerios and fishy crackers to sit still. However, once your kids are over toddlerhood (and in grammar school) it is best to not let them eat in Church. And it is particularly discouraged to have them eating Jack-in-the-box tacos and fries in the pew, minutes before Mass is going to start. The least you could have done is brought extra tacos for those of us sitting around you. That taco smell is very seductive, making one crave the greasy goodness of tortillas fried around mystery meat.

Ashamedly,

The Parishioner with the Growling Stomach

Dear American Idol,

After three or four years of watching your show, I have finally decided to give you up. You take up too much of my time and I rarely listen to the winners you've produced. However, I caught a few minutes of your show last night and already found myself rooting for some girl I heard singing. Blast you. Now I may have to watch next week just to see what the top 13 contestants sound like. This is what happens when you take away my Downton Abbey. I get so depressed I listen to Steven Tyler's cryptic nonsense. (And why didn't Ryan Seacrest shave? He's too baby faced to look good scruffy.)

Reluctantly,

A Closet AI Voter

Dear Daylight Savings Time,

I have heard many people marveling at your wonder. They rejoice in their extra sunlight. I hate to disappoint them by admitting that I loathe you. I live in California. I do not need extra sunlight. I have four children. I need sleep. They need sleep. Thanks to you, next week we will be tired, cranky and hunting for hidden chocolate. I'm too mad to even continue speaking to you right now.

Undoubtedly,

No Fan

JP_2_12.JPG

My Dear 2 Year Old,

I love you very much but this continuous taking my iphone has got to stop. No matter where I put it, you seem to find it. I don't mind you watching Blue's Clues or playing you Thomas the Train puzzles but it can only be when I allow you to do so. Not to mention that when you are done playing, you hide my phone. I know you are going through your hiding stage now - shoes in the toy box, car keys in the laundry basket, candy in your underwear drawer but you have got to Stop. Hiding. My. Phone. I don't ever want to call my cell number and have to listen for the ring only to find that my phone was buried in your sand box. You are incredibly lucky that it is still working. From now on I am keeping my phone here in my pocket where you can't get it without me knowing...wait, where did my phone go? Egads. I better check the toilets.

Wondering Why,

I Haven't Had a Heart Attack Yet

*********************************

Have a wonderful weekend and may your phone always be in your pocket.

A Valentine's Treat for You

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)

Happy St. Valentine's Day! Lots of love to all my family and friends (and anyone else who may be be hanging around the blog.) Thanks for listening to me and giving me a chance to step away from the business of life and have a little creative fun online. :-)

Since it is Valentine's I am giving you a treat. You can choose which of these Valentine's you prefer. If none of them are of any interest to you then you probably clicked on this blog by mistake. My apologies. Google is to your left.

Have fun!

For Lovers of the Catholic Faith

st_val.png

I give to you a synopsis of St. Valentine's life from UCatholic.com.

St. Valentine was a holy priest in Rome, who, with St. Marius and his family, assisted the martyrs in the persecution under Claudius II. Since he was caught marrying Christian couples and aiding any Christians who were being persecuted under Emperor Claudius in Rome [when helping them was considered a crime], Valentinus was arrested and imprisoned. (Continue reading at UCatholic.com...)

For Lovers of Downton Abbey

I give to you a Valentine Abbey. You can find more at Chad-thomas.com. So funny!

For Lovers of Their Vocation to Motherhood AND/OR Lovers of Laughing So Hard You Spit Out Your Drink

I give to you a post from my newest favorite Catholic Mom blogger Cari over at Clan Donaldson.

Tales from the Kid Ghetto

If you have children, you know what the kid ghetto is. You've been there. Whether you wanted to or no, you've been there.

The kid ghetto is where you're seated at the restaurant when you show up with people requiring booster seats or high chairs.

The basement you find yourself in during family reunions, where your senile great uncle and four nameless adolescent cousins are the only other people hanging out? That's the kid ghetto.

Trip to the mall? The kid ghetto there is that shockingly unsanitary play area you swear you'll never go to, but one day you push your luck one store too many and that's where you end up.

Even church has one. Oh yes, a place as welcoming and forgiving as the church has its own kid ghetto. It's the last five or six rows- the pews aaaaaaalllllll the way at the back of the church, where you're in the liturgical catch-22 of children who can't see what's going on and get restless, but aren't yet behaved enough to be trusted closer to the altar.

You know you're there when all the missals are missing covers and the smell of Desitin and apple juice hover perpetually in the air.

That's where we were today for Mass. Normally, I avoid the kid ghetto, and try to sneak my way into the no-man's land of the middle pews, but since we had to attend the 5:00 p.m. Mass, we knew we had five potential time bombs on our hands. Hunger, fatigue, and an hour of having to stay in the same 3 foot area are not a good mix if you're a kid. (Continue reading at Clan Donaldson...)

My camera battery has been dead all week and I couldn't find my charger so this week I am posting photos from the last few years. I had so many to choose from that I picked two for each category.

Here is Bella when she was the flower girl for my brother and sister-in-law's wedding. She is holding the flowers to be given to Our Lady.

This is such a pretty cake! My mother-in-law bought this for my birthday a year or two ago. I think I was turning 35 (again...and again...and again...)

Here is one of the three kids playing on the floor. :-)

I was looking at old Halloween pictures and found these two favorite ones. Here is Andrew dressed as St. Francis for an All Saint's Day party.

Here is John-Paul as a mustached fireman. LOL!

Here is a photo of Andrew when he was playing with his Walle toy. He dumped out the remaining animal crackers and crushed them up to make a desert landscape. What a mess.

Here is John-Paul playing IN the dishwasher. And I just noticed that JP is wearing Andrew's old pajamas from the photo above. Maybe it's the pajamas that have a mischievous effect. :-)

7 Quick Takes - 7/15/11

| | Comments (1) | TrackBacks (0)

Hosted by Jen at Conversion Diary.

I've got a 15 minute window of free time so let's see if I can get this done.

It's weird. This week I woke up on Tuesday thinking it was Friday. I woke up on Wednesday thinking it was Friday. I woke up on Thursday thinking it was Friday. Then this morning I woke up and thought, "Is it Friday already?" I think something is seriously wrong with me.

- 2 -

I've still been really concerned about my brother. He is doing better than when he first got to the ER. (We later came to realize he was at death's door. Scaaaaary.) However, he's not out of the woods yet. He had a little set back and will be in the hospital for another few days but at least he is out of ICU. Please keep him in your prayers. (And thanks to those who have been praying already. Mwuaah!)

- 3 -

I'm typing this with one hand as Matthew is falling asleep in my arms. I'm looking at his hair and it's growing in half brown and half blond. I'm looking again...blond? Huh. I always pictured my babies as cute little Hispanic looking kids with darker skin and dark eyes and dark hair and instead I got little cuties with light skin and lighter hair (than mine). But they all have my dark eyes and my chubby cheeks. (Not sure if that last one is a compliment or insult. Oh well.)

- 4 -

Speaking of hair, I've entered that lovely postpartum stage when your pregnancy-thick hair starts to fall out. Poor Brian, the other day he was taking a shower and couldn't figure out why the water was going down the drain so slow. Um, sorry sweetie.

- 5 -

Okay, I need to pause for a break because Matthew is fussing and won't settle. I think he's gotten tired of hearing the keyboard clicking away and me ignoring him while he is trying to get cozy with me. Once I stand up and hold him closer and talk quietly to him he's out in minutes. So let me go take care of that...

- 6 -

Okay, that wasn't too bad. He is out and sound asleep in his crib. As an added mommy bonus, after getting the baby to sleep there was a toxic toddler diaper to be changed. Once when Brian was blessing the house with holy water I told him he should just stick a couple of the kid's dirty diapers at the front door. They were surely rank enough to scare away the demons.

- 7 -

Okay, what time is it. Oh man, it's been half an hour since I first tried to sit down for my "free" time. Well, I should get minutes back on the clock for taking care of duties...um, duties I should have been doing in the first place. Hmm. Okay, enough of this nonsense. I have to at least offer one intelligent take so you don't shake your fist at me for completely wasting your time - after all you've got your own smelly diapers to deal with.

My last take is to remind you that Elizabeth over at In the Heart of My Home blog has started her book study series on The 10 Habits of Happy Mothers: Reclaiming our Passion, Purpose, and Sanity. I bought this book after hearing Dr. Meeker speak on EWTN but it got lost in the never ending pile of books I hope to finish. I dusted it off and started reading again. Hopefully reading with online buddies will help me to finish it before I start something else. I'll try to post more about chapter one next week. (After I get that Catholic baby shower post up.) ;-)

(Oh, and Matthew is already crying. What kind of nap was that??)

Oh well, have a great weekend!

I couldn't sleep last night so I was up at 1:00 AM buying books from Jessica's Used Book Sale on my iphone. I scored the Christmas Shoes Collection. Good!

- 2 -

But since I stayed up so late I slept in this morn and lost my morning computer time. Not good.

- 3 -

Although, I have been faithful to my morning prayer time. It has helped dramatically with my patience during the day's chaos. Good!

- 4 -

I wanted to post a 7 Quick Takes: Catholic Baby Shower Edition today but I didn't get to finish it. Not good.

- 5 -

However, I'm almost done with it and will post it next week. Good!

- 6 -

Matthew just spit up all over my shirt and JP just spilled my jug of water all over the couch. Not good.

- 7 -

But I made it to #7. Good!

Have a great weekend!

This is the view from our deck (with the rooftops cropped out.) One of the things I love about Carmel is that you have the beauty of the mountains/hills, the pine forests and the ocean all in one place. When I first came here to visit Brian I was awestruck!

{happy}

4b.JPG

I was trying to get a photo of Bella but Andrew ran into the picture at the last minute. It's funny that they are 5 1/2 years apart but still love to play with each other. I'm enjoying it while it lasts!

{funny}

4c.JPG

Sometimes the house can get pretty loud with Andrew and John-Paul running around chasing each other. Add Bella to the mix and it can be a bit much. On this noisy day poor Matthew just wanted to take a nap. I'd caption this "Oh, how much longer must I suffer?"

{real}

I went into the kitchen and found that the cookie thief had struck again. So I went in search of him and found him hiding in the front room. He couldn't deny the crime since he still had the evidence in his hands!

homemaker.jpgIt's just past midnight right now and I should be asleep but I've been cleaning all day (thanks to my sis watching the kids for me) and I wanted a few minutes to unwind and catch up on some Catholic mom blogs.

I recently added a number of new blogs into my google reader and I'm sifting through them to see which ones I'll read regularly and which ones are good but not where I am in life.

The first ones to go are the blogs that depress me. You know the ones I'm talking about. The ones that have countless posts by talented moms showing their beautiful gardens, their homemade baked goods and home cooked meals, their hand sewn clothes, and their Catholic craft of the day. I can take these in small doses but not all the time. Like I said, it depresses me.

And it's not their fault. It's mine. I just can't seem to follow their lead. I've tried to garden. Truly, I have. In fact, just a few months ago I decided to start again but to keep it simple. No veggies or elaborate flower beds. Instead I have two simple window boxes of flowers and three herbs - basil, Italian parsley and cilantro. I was doing really well but as usual I forgot to water and not just once or twice but for days. Yesterday I went outside to check on my herbs and lo and behold, I'm the only person on my block to have a garden of dried herbs. (Dried... dead... is there really much difference?) Yeah, so gardens and I don't do so well.

Then we come to the sewing. I swear my sister EL took all the sewing genes in my family because I have zero interest and even less skill. Okay, maybe I could sew on a button if I was forced, but just barely. To prove my point, when I was younger I'd hem my pants with duct tape and I've "sewn" things together with a stapler. Yeah, not one of my prouder moments. I get a lot more happiness when I don't sew and instead find a cute outfit on sale at Target or Macy's.

As for baking, home cooked meals and crafts, on occasion I'll put together something good or at least fairly decent but I don't do it all the time. My bigger concerns on a daily basis is that the dishes are cleared before Brian gets home, that everyone has clean undies, that the boys haven't demolished the house and that I've cleaned the pee, poop or spit up from where it happened to land that day. I can barely accomplish that let alone create a replica of the Vatican made entirely out of cupcakes. Sigh. Well, if it means I have our local pizza place on speed dial, so be it.

So instead of being envious of those other moms I'm simply going to avoid temptation and not read their blogs regularly. Instead I'll enjoy kindred posts like Calah's In the Dumps or Nikki's To Call or Not to Call and I'll realize that I'm not alone in my struggle. There are other moms who are trying to get through these adventurous years just as I am.

Oh, I admit that I will try to improve a little each day. But for today, I'll love my family and serve God in the way I know best - with my dried herbs, duct tape and delivery pizza.

UPDATE: It's been a month since I wrote this post and it has been on my mind a lot because God has been using those thoughts to teach me some mom lessons. I talk more about it in my post here.

logo_med.jpg

UPDATE #2: Fast forward two months ahead. I decided that heck, if you can't beat them, join them. I'm attempting to get myself organized so my life will run a little smoother and I won't be so frazzled with the daily grind of motherhood. You can follow the journey here.

7 Quick Takes - 6/24/11

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)

7_quick_takes_sm.jpg

Hosted by Jen at Conversion Diary. (Congrats to Jen on the birth of her daughter!! Read about it here.)

- 1 -

My youngest sister J.D. is visiting us for almost two weeks. We hired her to help me with the kids while I got my spring cleaning and some other projects done. It has been so nice having her around! Not just because the kids adore her and she's so good with them but i love spending time with her. I miss my sisters!

- 2 -

Speaking of missing sisters, My sis EL mentioned in her Quick Takes that she plans to travel from VA to CA to visit the family. Unfortunately that weekend we have another obligation at Andrew's school so we can't make the 400 mile trip to So Calif while they are here. I'm so bummed! Although in the back of my mind I'm trying to figure out if I could still make it happen...if I could get out of the obligation, have Bella and Andrew play hooky, get Brian to take a couple days off work and drive...hmmm, I don't know. We'll see what I can figure out.

- 3 -

This week I have been working on cleaning, organizing and purging all the unused items out of our house. During one of my breaks I was browsing Colleen's Green Grass Blog blog. Her post about a messy house was just what I needed to hear. She also mentioned a book that I was thinking of getting - Smart Martha's Catholic Guide for Busy Moms by Tami Kiser. I have to make an Amazon order tonight so I think I'll get a copy and check it out. I'll let you know what I think.

- 4 -

In our kitchen there are always big bowls of fresh fruit ready to be eaten. Unfortunately we had way too many bananas and they were getting pretty ripe. (I mean like "I'm starting to see gnats" ripe) so I made a batch of chocolate chip banana oatmeal cookies for the kids. (Yes, the kids. And no, that is not chocolate you see on my face.) I still had more bananas to finish so my sister tried a recipe we just saw on Mexican Made Easy for Mexican chocolate banana muffins. The recipe was super easy and instead of using chocolate chips you used crushed Mexican chocolate. They were so good and would taste great with a cup of Mexican chocolate. (if you haven't had Mex choc, it's like regular hot chocolate but with a cinnamony flavor.)

- 5 -

It's probably a little futile talking about hot chocolate when people are sweating in the heat of summer. I forget about that since Carmel has reverted to it's foggy, cold summer days. My poor sister (who lives in the high dessert) is used to the heat and she's shivering at our house. We crack up that we are in shorts and she's in a long sleeve tee and vest jacket. :-)

- 6 -

On Wednesday it was gorgeous and sunny outside at 10 AM so we decided to hit the beach. An hour later we had our picnic lunch packed and the kids were standing by the door in their shorts and sunglasses. Before leaving I looked out the kitchen window and saw the dreaded fog rolling in over the ocean. Oh no! We ran out the door, jumped in the van and I felt like John Cusack on that mediocre 2012 movie trying to race against impending doom. Well you can't beat Mother Nature and by the time we set up camp there wasn't a spot of blue sky, just thick gray. Oh well, we still had fun and truth be told, I'd prefer the fog over blistering heat.

- 7 -

Lastly, Brian and I got a special treat since he won a complimentary lunch at Pebble Beach. The last time we were there John Paul was a baby and we took him with us. This time Matthew is the baby but Jacinta offered to watch all four kids so we could eat alone. (I love that girl!) So we enjoyed our lunch child free - although we were happy when we received texta with pics of the kids having fun with their aunt. We could eat without worry. Here's a pic I took of us that day. Brian doesn't like it because he's squinting but I still think he looks great.

We went walking in downtown Carmel (CA) this weekend and passed this little shop covered with flowers. So pretty!

I desperately wanted to get a photo of all the kids together. I had a great shot at my mother-in-laws house - everyone was looking and smiling - but the flash didn't go off . The next day I took one outside but I couldn't get all the kids to smile and look at me at the same time. Oh, well. They still make me very happy. :-)

Okay, this is my act of humility. Confession time. I can be a little messy at times. (If my sister is reading then she just spit out her coffee and exclaimed, "A little?!" Living at home, when it came to neatness, she was the Felix to my Oscar.) Anyway, we've been doing some serious housecleaning this week and as I cleaned up I'd tell the kids, "put this on my desk." (See how nicely I shift the blame to the kiddos so I don't look so bad...) Finally the desk looked like it exploded and even I was shocked by the mess. I couldn't help but laugh, hence the "funny."

And for the real...tada! I got everything cleaned and sorted and even found a few things I thought I'd lost. I can't guarantee it will stay looking like this but at least for today it will remain spotless. (I'll just stay away from it.)

My sweet Andrew turned four years old. He came after a couple of years of infertility and miscarriages so he is an extra special blessing.

We don't usually shop at Walmart (I'm a Target addict) but we wanted to check out the new store here. I had never seen one of those huge, long carts. They have are hysterical. (Although, I must say nobody gave me that disgusted "why do you have four kids?" look.) But I barely made it around the store on a quiet Tuesday morning. It must be impossible to maneuver on a busy weekend! Anyway, Andrew thought he was at Disneyland and JP thought he would plunge to his death so big brother was comforting him. And as I take another look at this photo I could also have summed up {funny} with two words - the hair! I know, I know. Time for me to trim the fros. It's on my weekend to do list. ;-)

Bella and her best friend were texting photos back and forth of their angry birds in various circumstances. Here you have angry bird checking his email on his iphone. Lol!
